Clinical Approaches: Relational and Holistic
At Still Rising Counseling and Consulting, my clinical approach to therapy is relational, holistic, and client-centered. I believe healing occurs through connection and collaboration, honoring the whole person—mind, body, and lived experience. Therapy is a shared journey rooted in safety, trust, and meaningful relationships, supporting growth that extends beyond symptom relief and into lasting personal transformation.
This means that our sessions are not only about processing emotions or challenges in isolation, but also about exploring how your mind, body, spirit, and relationships are interconnected. We may look at daily rhythms, nutrition, rest, community, and personal values alongside the patterns of connection and disconnection in your life. I see every woman as more than a diagnosis or set of symptoms—you are resilient, resourceful, and capable of transformation. By blending relational and holistic care, therapy becomes a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to embark on a healing journey that feels authentic to you.
“There is no coming to consciousness without pain. People will do anything no matter how absurd to avoid facing their own soul. One does not become enlightened by imagining figures of light but by making the darkness conscious.”
